Whilst installation of different products is not overly complicated it is critical to getting the right result and can also be dangerous (especially installing underfloor insulation). The inherant difficulty with insulation is that once installed you never know what you are missing out on. Research has highlighted that a gap in insulation as small as a few millimeters can reduce the overall effectiveness of insulation by up to 50%. Being ‘pedantic’ in your installation can make a big difference in the long term.
