The active ingredient in Borer Basher is 980 grams per kilogram Sodium Borate in a powder form. Sodium Borate is also known as Borax which is a natural substance.

Every reasonable precaution is taken in the manufacture of this product.  However the effectiveness of the product depends in part upon correct methods of application, condition of the timber, and as such, no guarantee can be expressed or implied.  For jobs completed by The Insulation Warehouse a workmanship warranty is provided for a period of 12 months.  This warranty includes the method of application and appropriate coverage of the treated area.

Borer Basher is applied as a wet spray on product to all exposed wood under the house. All wood should be as dust free as possible prior to applying 2 coats with at least 1 hour drying time in between.

As this is a wet spray product there is a chance that the fluid can seep through timber ceilings and this is something that the home owner should take into consideration prior to application.
